The Addy Gown is elegance and grace. The fullness of the tulle skirt contrasts perfectly with the beautifully shaped bodice that tapers at the waist. The tulle skirt touches the floor for that dramatic formal length. The bodice was designed without a separate sleeve to accommodate the use of specialty fabrics. Whether you use coordinating fabric from the specialty fabric section or upcycle from a girl’s dress, this pattern will make a stunning gown!
The Creta Gown Pattern was designed to create an elegant gown out of the gorgeous specialty fabrics on the market. These fabrics, with ruffles, sequins, and embroidery can be tricky on doll clothes because they add bulk. The skirt is designed to showcase these fun fabrics with box pleats to manage the bulk and create the skirt volume. The bodice features a wide square neckline. Variation instructions are included to embellish the narrow sleeve with the oversized bow pattern, simple ribbon bows, or cut out embroidery. Sew the skirt without the specialty fabric overlay following the variation instructions included. The look of the gown varies depending on the fabric you choose for endless possibilities!
The Lucy Gown is a floor length dress for dolls. The three tier layered skirt adds fullness to the dress and an elegant flare. Sew a variation with only one skirt layer for a party dress style or a more casual look. Add a sweet touch with a ribbon belt at the waistline. Make the Lucy Gown in a medium weight Jersey knit fabric for a skirt that is more full. For a slimmer silhouette, sew the gown in a lightweight knit. This is a quick and easy project to sew.
The Bertha Fur Coat is a stylish layer to pair with different outfits. There are a variety of looks depending on the faux fur type and the sleeve option you choose. Make it out of a short pile faux fur for an elegant look. A medium length faux fur is a fashionable statement. For a casual look make the vest option. The coat is designed with a boxy cut and has 3 sleeve finishes. Make it with long sleeves, short sleeves or no sleeves for the vest. It is fun to build layered outfits and looks! I designed this pattern to coordinate and work with a variety of other patterns. I’ve included a style guide to give you options that help you pair patterns.
